Studio TourThis is a featured page

Its your own personal tour of the Studio, that Jamie and Jason work in every Saturday Night.
We bring you the best music and Your requests - and it all comes from here...

Code Security PassWe took these photos at the studio one night before we went on air and done our radio show. This first photo on the left is the Security Code Keypad. The building has very good security and a lot of cameras. Every time a presenter enters their code it comes up on the computer who enters etc. When a visitor comes to the studio you will see this little gadget on the wall, don't worry though you wont need to use it. Above this gadget is a button and a speaker, all you do is press the button and someone will answer you and the door will open for you and all you do is walk up the stairs which are on the far right of the photo.

This photo was taken in the main walkway
to the studio, when you enter the studioStudio Tour
Walk up the stairs you will come to another set of glass security doors and you will press a door bell and someone will let you in. The security in this building is very tight because the studio has very expensive gear that is used to help the station
broadcast to the community.

Entrance to Meeting Room This photo on the left is a photo of the main conference room where most
meetings between technician and the progrmme directors and managers etc take
place. When presenters want to talk and need to discuss financial issues, security
issues or organise new time slots for programmes it all takes place in here. Also its the studios kitchen where presenters can wait and have a coffee or cup of tea before they go on air.

Studio 1

This is one of the important rooms to the station. Studio 1, theres a Studio 2, But
at the moment this is Studio 1, Where most of our programmes broadcast from.
The most important tool for this studio is the big board thats on the table in front of
the presenters chair, this controls the CD Players, The Satelite, The Computer the
phone etc. The green buttons turn the selected item off and the red buttons turn it
on. The more you slide one of those butons up
towards the top the louder the
selected item plays louder on air. Studio 2 STUDIO 2 (Below)

This is the Studio 2, They have to be identical so they are both easy to

use and when you use both you will think your using the same studio all

the time.

This is the General Office to the studio, this is another
important area for the studio, General Officethis is where
all the radio program guides are printed and put in the Latrobe Valley Express every Monday in the TV Guide. Also a lot of Financial work is done in here.
